GROTTAMMARE

SIBILLINI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
Its 70.000 hectares wide territory embraces more than 20 peaks over 2000 m high.Vettore and Pilato Lake are of great naturalistic interest. The lake is the only natural basin where the little and rare Marchesoni Chirocefalo lives and reproduces. It is a 9-12 mm long red crustacean, whose pecularity is swimming upside down.
18 communnes, not to be passed unobserved is Montefortino with Madonna dell'Ambro Sanctuary, the Sibilla Cave and Mount Infernaccio belong to the territory of Sibillini Mountains Park.

SAN SEVERINO MARCHE
